    It sounds to me like the same "save bug"; you havnt fixed anything. Let us know if you can really get the saves to work.

    Has anyone tried to put the PC .sav save file onto the DC disc in the valve\save\ and the .hl1 save file in valve\save\dicts\ folder? That is my only idea, havn't tried it yet...

    hi guys, i've been doing some tests because of the saving problem (thats why BR is taking so long to start). i've been working in what override said, the pc .sav should do it, but they must be blank, let me explain:

    i think that .sav are maid to indicate all objects (doors, pickups, monters, corpses) in the map that you are in, but when we make a sav file in-game, the sav file indicates the position of such things as the game is.

    so, what do i intent to say by "blank sav"? we need a sav (for each map of course) that indicates all objects at player spawn, so when you actually save, the dreamcast takes the blank sav and makes a momentary sav.

    i'll keep worki'n on this, and if i get any good results, i'll let you know xD

    Awesome that you have found a possible work around. So far this is a great mod, but the saving problem makes it hard for me to play. When I die I must restart the whole game, which is frustrating.

    Also, I can't get the godmode cheat to work, any tips?

    I just spoke with cantstraiferight, and he wants to finish this mod, and wants to know if OVERRIDE or Dreammatrix could help him work out the bugs for a final release.

    I take a look at theyhunger, is possible make a full port of They hunger ep2 and is posible make a version of ep.3 too..

    The port of the hunger 2 and 3 is almost ready, i fixed all things on they hunger1, TH2 and 3 are working on dc too...
    I need help !
    I want convert all They Hunger wads to pvr format before upload the files (Because some maps are freezing on TH2 and TH3)
    With pvr wads maybe all maps will work

    Here is TheyHungerDC beta3:
    RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting
    (only the data files)
    Use a selfboot program like Eazyboot to mount the image

    I just continued were Cantstraferiht stopped

    Changelog:
    Added all data files on cd\TH.DC.ver.0.2BETA diretory to play they hunger ep2 and 3 (sprites, sound, maps, models, etc)
    Changed the menu and maps to play TheyHunger Ep2 and 3 (langtags.txt)
    Compressed all sound to adpcm format and repacked on pak1.
    Compressed almost all weapons and monsters models and repacked on pak0
    Replaced some wads with pvr-wads (halflife, xeno, cs_bdog.wad gfx and cached .wad)
    Ported almost all entilities from einar.dll to hldc
    Ported the barney zombie from einiar.dll to hldc (now barney enemie is working)
    Ported einar_hand,moster_zombiebull,th_chiken,th_cyberfla nklin entilities to hldc
    Ported weapon_th_taurus, Weapon_th_sniper and weapon_th_chaingun to hldc
    Edited the qc.file on moster agrunt to disable the hornet gun atactts
    Added a config file to increase the gamma and brightness and speed up the game


    They hunger 1 is ready and running well.
    They still some things to do on They2 and they3.

    To do:
    Convert neim2,neilm4 and neilm5.wad to pvr format
    Fix some maps on They2 and They3 that is freezing
    Convert 2 entitities (th_megasquid and th_bossfrom) from They3 to hldc
    Add save

    divigante, do you know how to make a self booting CDI out of these data files? I have much problems with Bootdreams, and only make bad cd's. If you could make it an easily burnable CDI, and reupload it to megaupload I would love you forever lol! XD

    i always used bootdreams like this (i cant be more accurate cause im not on my pc =S):

    copy everything of the disk into C:\Bootdreams\Data

    > **i dont know what dreammatix uploaded!** to be sure, copy the contents of the original half life, and then override them with dreammatix's files in the correct places (its not hard to figure it out), if not please someone correct me

    (delete ip.bin if there is one because hl:dc doesnt actually uses one one the first place, and youll need bootdreams to make you a new one)

    Load up bootdreams, configure drive (at first run)
    when promped to, press enter (if im not mistaken) to configure bootdreams settings
    set it to data mode (on the right), create dummy file, and let everything else be like normal (make sure speed its set to 8x)

    bootdreams will continue, generate a ip.bin, set a name to the disk (use LARGE CARACTERS, and no more than 11 caracters , no spaces and shit, only letters will do more than fine xD)

    at a certain point it will seem bootdreams has crashed (when its creating the dummy file), but just let it be and it will burn you what ya need ^^ (dont worry, i wasted like 8/9 disks untill figuring out how to manage to make BD work xD)
