Low file size memory card mod?

Is there a mod of half-life for dreamcast that compresses the saves? seriously i need 230 blocks to save 1 file... see what does not make sense?

this happens because hl1 save files are cumulative. evrything you saved in the 1st will be inside the 2nd. there is no known solution for this. try to save less often
