Smith the Bleem King is back and starting up a new scene release group!

Attention all members, Smith the creator of all the selfbooting Bleem games and the Shenmue 2 full xbox english speech mod is wanting to start a new scene release group that will try their hand at cracking/hacking and optomizing new games for us to play on Dreamcast, be it Quake or Half-Life PC mod ports or dumping games that have never been playable before now.

I am asking for all that know how to create mods and optomize games and whatnot to give it a look, we are trying to get many prominent figures in the Dreamcast scene from all over the world, so you can be sure of quality releases.

Oh, no, Smith has been around for a while, he is the guy that made all the self booting Bleemed PS1 games for Dreamcast. He left for a little while but is back again, and he is seriously wanting to start up a new group that will focus on releaseing never dumped GDR's, from all regions, and modding and hacking games.

The guy you are talking about is most likely from this thread I created 1 week ago trying to get some new recruits for our forums.

He is a fellow Texan and has always wanted to get into HL, modding, and I think he is even more excited to be able to play the mods on his console!

But yeah, trust me, Smith knows modding, as he swapped out all the Xbox Shenmue 2 speech files and replaced the Japanese speech on the Dreamcast. Maybe you should consider joining, seriously, he is going to try and get some new experiances for us to enjoy on our Dreamcast, so if you are wanting to join a very active team, this is the one to join.

and i heard that its possible to take all the english from some rent-a-hero xbox beta and put it in the japanese only dc game.

Yeah, they were talking about translating it too just like with Shenmue 2 and Space Channel 5 part 2, but I think you would have to do a professional translation like has been done with SEGAGA and Advanced War 2001.

Yes! Neoblast and Chui could help out too maybe? This would be an excelent thing for Dreamcast in 2011! Dreamcast is making a big comeback this year, and we are even going to get an unreleased game called Geist Force in a few months! 2011 is the best year the Dreamcast has had for ages!

So does this mean you are in Dreammatrix? If so I would be so happy! Man, Smith is a great guy, he just needs some guys helping out in a team effort.

You could help with modding man, you guys do great things here, don't sell yourself so low.

I am sorry to say that Smith has disappeared, but that don't mean we should let his idea die! We would LOVE to have you guys over at Dreamcast-Talk, optomizing games, making mods for Quake and Half-Life, and other things.

Can you guys post in this thread please and show that you are interested? I am only able to spread news and post, I suck at making iso's...

That is fine, I totaly understand that. It would still be great for us to have all people involved in Dreamcast modding under one roof, so we can get ideas and help flowing back and forth.

I think all the smart folks I know here and at other sites would benefit from a more united team that is not afraid to ask for help and give it when it is needed. We are trying to bring more life to the Dreamcast, and this looks like the best way to do it. I have been talking with Neoblast from Dreamcast.es, and he thinks this is a great idea too. We need guys from every major region, that speak all the major languages. the more the better. Maybe you guys can speak to some people in the portuguese speaking community and see if they would also be interested in lending their services?

So far we have one German, and would be good to get another one, Moi I am looking at you! XD

As for you 2 here Portuguese speakers, that is all we have that are interested, so please tell your friends.

As for other Americans, know Override is very busy with real life things, so I don't know that he would be interested. Smith should still pop in from time to time, would be great if he could help out when he had time. Also we have the other Texan I met over at Racketboy that divagante has been helping out with HL maps, so he has potential.

Maybe we can get LanDC, I could ask him, I only spoke on a thread with him, don't really know him that well but it is always good to ask.

Hey Anthony why you dont make a topic on dcemulation there are people from all the parts of the word
At the present time, people from all parts of the earth can communicate through i.e. translators.
